Classic Beach Read:

Okay so we haven’t read it yet but it’s on the nightstand and there is much anticipation. When Life Gives You Lululemons by Lauren Weisberger is the spin off to Devil Wears Prada! This novel follows the assistant we secretly loved, Emily Charlton, after her days at Miranda Priestly’s office. She is joined by a cast of characters all fighting their way through some serious drama and apparently we get a cameo of Miranda herself. This sounds like the perfect mix of fashion, mystery, and sass that cooks up the most delicious beach read.

Twerking on Yourself:

The Self Help category needs a new name, any suggestions? Regardless, we love the cult classic You are A Badass by Jen Sincero. This honorary babe serves up some clutch wisdom and knowledge surrounding how to live the life you want. Although many authors and speakers have tackled this subject, Sincero offers applicable information using real world examples from her own life and others. This is a great audio book option because the chapters are short and easy to pick up from where you left off. Feel inspired driving to work, shopping for groceries, or with your eyes closed in a hot bath. You’ll thank us when you’re slaying life with ease.

If you’re looking for something a bit more challenging than your typical “who dun it” novel, Love and Other Ways of Dying by Michael Paterniti is a great choice for spreading your literary wings. This essay collection is written with intention and grace allowing your mind to wander the unusual which just happen to be real. Paterniti writes about the human experience with focus and abstraction while his language tickles your taste buds. Buckle up because while this is ultimately an uplifting collection, your emotions will be tested.
